Welcome!

While we are still VERY early on this journey (Maya started Sept 11-2023 and Denise started 2 weeks later) we found the program to be easy to follow, did not leave us starving, recipes were plentiful, did not wreck our bodies with stupid amounts of exercise, did not have to buy pre-packaged food (like that EVER lasts), did not require shots, meds, surgery (no shade to those that want/need those things- WE just did not want them), and unlike calorie restriction diets there was always SOMETHING to eat- even if you ran out of points. 0 points are a goddess-send. We are experimenting with recipes to get the best tasting, lowest point possible foods so we can have a healthy lifestyle and still enjoy the things we eat. Some are fails (man are fails) but many have surprised us with how good they are. Maya says "If it doesn't taste good- I am will not eat it and/or it won't be something I will be able to maintain for a lifetime."

We don't like ads when we visit a blog so I tacked this blog unto my art site, that way we keep it ad free. we hope this is a great resource for you to use on your own weight loss journey. and By he way- we are body positive here! We are on this journey because we both have found that when we live a healthier lifestyle- we FEEL better. We just never found one that was sustainable before. We think we have now.
